Sony released new compact digital camera Cyber-shot DSC-T2 equipped with 8-Mpixel CCD sensor (size 1/2.5), Carl Zeiss lens, with the possibility of 3x optical zoom (38-114 mm in 35 mm equivalent F/3.5-4.3), and image stabilization system.

The DSC-T2 comes equipped with 4 GB of built-in memory. This amount of memory is enough to get 40,000 VGA-quality photos or 1,000 8 megapixel photos. For most people, this is more than enough photo memory. For those who will need even more than 4 GB, this camera also is compatible with Sony's Memory Sticks.
